Saurabh Arora is a senior human resources professional with over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. As Head of Human Resources at Waterfield Advisors, he oversees all facets of the HR function and plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s organisational evolution as it enters its next phase of growth. Prior to joining Waterfield, Saurabh was Director and Head of HR at Russell Investments, where he helped build and scale the firm’s India presence. He previously spent over 17 years at Morgan Stanley, serving in progressive leadership roles including Executive Director, HR Business Partner Lead for India, and HR Chief Operating Officer, and was instrumental in leading India talent acquisition and global recruitment strategy for the firm’s Global Capability Centres. Earlier in his career, he held HR roles at JPMorgan Chase and began his professional journey at American Express.

Soumya is the Founder and CEO of Waterfield Advisors, which is the largest multi-family office and wealth advisory firm in India. With over 30 years of experience in private banking and wealth advisory, Soumya commenced her career at ANZ Grindlays Bank, which later became Standard Chartered Bank. She worked for 17 years with the Bank in both India and Singapore, with her last role being the head of the Private Banking division of Standard Chartered in India. In 2011, she founded Waterfield Advisors.

As one of the earliest advocates of fee-only investment advisory in India, Soumya founded Waterfield on the principles of an alignment of interests with clients in the wealth advisory space. Today, Waterfield advises on financial assets exceeding $5 billion on behalf of India's leading and some of the most iconic business families. She also provides guidance to these families on non-investment issues such as succession planning, corporate and family governance, business strategy, and philanthropy. Soumya also serves as an Independent Director on the Private Equity backed boards of two listed companies - Aavas Financiers, in the affordable housing space and Vishal Mega Mart, one of India’s largest retail chains.

Soumya is also a Board member of several non-profit organizations in the education and healthcare sectors. She was awarded the Radhakrishnan Scholarship to study at Oxford University, UK, where she earned her Masters in Mathematics, in addition to holding a B.A (Hons) in Mathematics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.

With over 25 years of experience, Kartik has worked with some of the largest financial services firms including Avendus, Deutsche Bank and Merrill Lynch, India. Kartik brings with him a robust operational background and has enhanced the firm’s operating model by leading the process and technological changes.

With over 26 years of substantive experience across the wealth management spectrum, Nakul is leading Waterfield's crucial global wealth segment. He started his career in investment and corporate banking and progressively moved to become a pioneer in wholesale/institutional banking. He has worked in organisations such as InCred Wealth, Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) and Barclays Wealth amongst others. His vast experience in onshore and offshore wealth management, deep promoter relationships and leadership prowess are valuable fillip for Waterfield’s strategic expansion plans.

Rohan has over 11 years of diverse work experience spanning across global investment banking at Deutsche Bank, a startup leadership role at Carbon Clean Solutions, and early stage investment experience at Blume Ventures. At Waterfield, Rohan assists clients with their strategy for the unlisted space, along with sourcing and evaluation of startups.

Himanshu, a Chartered Accountant, has over 20 years of experience working for global wealth management businesses including DSP Merrill Lynch, JM Financials and Julius Baer. Himanshu was also responsible for developing the Managed Services business at Miles Software, a premier wealth management product company. Himanshu is an expert in establishing strong and reliable operations, processes, technology, software applications and financial product implementation.

Subodh spearheads the professionals' segment at Waterfield Advisors, bringing a wealth of expertise and insight from his extensive experience at leading financial institutions, including ICICI Private Wealth and Citi Private Bank. With a holistic approach to client management, Subodh has adeptly managed clients across various dimensions, including investments, business lending, portfolio management services (PMS), and corporate finance. Vivek holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. Divij is a senior leader at Waterfield Advisors, where he leads the firm’s outreach to India’s ultra-high-net-worth individuals and single family offices, while also playing a key role in shaping Waterfield’s global expansion strategy. With nearly two decades of experience in private banking and financial services consulting, he is well-connected within the UHNW and family office community, both in India and across international markets. His expertise lies in client origination, investment strategy, and advising global South Asian families on cross-border wealth matters.

He has worked across leading financial hubs such as Tokyo, Luxembourg, Geneva, Singapore, and India, enabling him to offer clients a uniquely international outlook anchored in local relevance. Nitaa Shivdasani is the Managing Director – Client Coverage and Origination at Waterfield Advisors, where she leads the HERitage segment, Waterfield’s dedicated wealth advisory proposition for women. In her role, she is responsible for managing and developing relationships with global HNI and UHNI clients, overseeing their portfolios, and driving the firm’s growth among a sophisticated client base. Through her leadership of HERitage, Nita has built deep domain expertise in HNI/UHNI advisory, particularly in engaging with women investors.

She brings extensive experience in portfolio construction, offshore advisory services, and relationship management, significantly strengthening Waterfield’s overall advisory capabilities. Apoorva Rai spearheads strategic initiatives and drives operational excellence to support the Waterfield’s long-term vision. An Engineer by qualification, Apoorva brings nearly two decades of global experience across banking and management consulting, having worked in India, Singapore, and Indonesia. Prior to joining Waterfield, she was part of the COO’s office at Circles, Singapore, where she led strategic planning and enterprise-wide programs. She has also held senior leadership roles at Bank of Singapore, driving its digital strategy, leading transformation initiatives, and managing strategic communications at the Board level. Apoorva began her career at PwC, where she advised global banks on large-scale transformations and post-merger integrations. Tanvi Savla is the Managing Director & Head of Family Governance and Client Coverage, bringing over 19 years of experience across financial journalism, strategy consulting, and private banking. She has worked with leading institutions including India Today, Universal Consulting, Kotak Wealth, and DSP Merrill Lynch, building deep expertise in family governance, relationship management for large families, and UHNW clients.

Riddhiman is a seasoned investment professional with over 15 years of global experience in wealth management, spanning senior leadership roles across Singapore, Hong Kong and India. He most recently served as Executive Director and Head of Investments & Products at UBS Wealth Management India, where he led discretionary and advisory mandates, alternative investments, mutual funds and listed securities across asset classes. Earlier, he was Head of Advisory Solutions for APAC at Credit Suisse, where he scaled the award-winning CS Invest Advisory platform across the region, managing multi-billion-dollar portfolios and driving digital innovation. A CFA charterholder with an M.Sc. in Economics and a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani, Riddhiman has consistently spearheaded differentiated offerings in alternatives, hedge funds and AI-enabled client servicing, while leading cross-border teams to deliver scalable, client-centric investment solutions.

Abhishek Damani is a Managing Director in Waterfield Advisors’ Alternative Investments team, where he leads the expansion of the firm’s private market capabilities through the development of new offerings such as secondaries and separately managed accounts tailored to the evolving needs of both domestic and global investors.
